HUMANITARIAN CONCERN CHILDRENS HOME
Humanitarian Concern Childrens Home is run by Buddiman and his wife Indrakala. They started this orphanage in 2002 with little to no money. When I first met them in 2005 they lived in a 2 bedroom house with 29 children, there was no running water or toilet facilities and they barely got by. Through the hard work and determination to provide shelter, food, clothing and schooling for these children Buddiman and Indrakala hit the streets every day to ask for donations and have been able to get into a house that has plenty of room for all the children and bathroom facilites, beds and a clean place to live.
They have four children of their own who also live at the orphanage. It is to impossible to tell which children are their biological children as they treat all the children as if they were theirs.
Amazi International is dedicated to coming alongside Buddiman and Indrakala to help them find a means of becoming self-sufficient through different types of projects.
